Summer 1946—Apfelmus (Apple Sauce)

Apfelmus—Apple Sauce

 

  1. Apples (only remove stem and blemishes)
  2. cut into pieces
  3. boil in water until soft
  4. push through sieve
  5. can without adding sugar.

Tip: I usually can the apple sauce into small portion size glasses. It’s great for breakfasts or snacks.
