Tomato Salads

 


Measurements for 2 persons and salad as part of main meal not side dish

5-6 medium sized tomatoes

1 small or 1/2 medium sized onion

slice or dice the vegetable

 

Version 01—My Dad’s Classic

2-3 pinches salt

2 tablespoons malt vinegar

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons milk

crush black pepper over it

 

Version 02—The Mediterranean Version

2 Tablespoons Aceto Balsamico

2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

2-3 Pinches Salt

1 Cup Black Olives

Fresh Basil Leaves

Crush Black Pepper over it

 

My Favourite Add-Ons

  1. GARLIC loads and loads of GARLIC

CHEESY CORNER

  1. You can dice Feta or Mozzarella and throw it in
  2. Fry Haloumi and put over the salad once you served the portions on plates

QUICK DINNER

Simply slice tomatoes, oinions, mozzarella, layer in turns on a big plate
Pour some Aceto Balsamico and Olive oil over it
Throw some fresh Basil leaves on top
And get you some fresh bread—or these really nice potatoes
